JAMESTOWN - Paris O. Dougherty of Jamestown died at 1:15 a.m. Saturday at his home after an illness of several years. Mr. Dougherty, 74, had been bedfast since September of 1968. The deceased, a member of the North Salem United Methodist Church, was a longtime employee of Electric Steel Ca stings of Speedway. Born on Dec. 16, 1894, in Daviess County, he was the s on of Walter and Maude Tomey Dougherty. He was married on Oct. 27, 191 5, to Leah Elizabeth Bain. The ceremony took place in Indianapolis. Surviving are the widow; two sons, Robert of Whiteland and Harry of Indianapolis; three daughters, Mrs. Ruth Macy and Mrs. Norman Hamm, both of Indianapolis, and Mrs. Lois Neff of North Salem, 15 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday in the Porter Funeral Ho me at North Salem with Rev. Louis Crouch officiating. Burial will be in Fl oral Park Cemetery at Indianapolis.
